Orchid Court, Kingstanding Rd, Birmingham ( 15nr 2 bed/2bath apartments ) approximately 1100sqft
This site was situated on an old disused petrol station and with a medium incline. Pantheon construction was involved with this extensive project at the outline planning phase of the development, and were able to assist and liaise with the client, design team, local planning and building control for the duration of the build including and upto handover.
We undertook the demolition of the existing petrol station, the associated forecourts, the removal of the existing petrol tanks as well as any contaminated land. The site required ground improvements by means of stone vibro pilling to all load bearing walls.
The above ground structure was traditional masonry construction to a configuration of 3 blocks of 5 apartments incorporating 3 feature glass atriums as a means of access to each block together with common areas, shared landscaped gardens, bike sheds and private parking.
“This was a challenging site but we found that pantheon construction dealt with it professionally throughout. Not only did they carry out their building services to a high standard but they also liaised with the relevant building authorities and utilities connection services on our behalf”
